SUMMARY:Axe Rivers Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Axe Rivers Festival is a week‑long celebration of the landscapes\, wildlife and communities shaped by the River Axe and its tributaries. Through immersive storytelling\, guided walks\, creative experiences and hands‑on activities\, the Festival invites people of all ages and backgrounds to connect more deeply with the living world on their doorstep. \n  \nFrom intimate audio journeys and film screenings to family-friendly wetland adventures\, night walks and opportunities to explore the science and history of river restoration\, each event opens a window onto a different part of the river’s story. Together they highlight not only the beauty and character of the Axe\, but also the shared responsibility we have in caring for it. \n  \nAbove all\, the Axe Rivers Festival is an invitation to learn\, to wonder\, to celebrate\, and to take part in a healthier future for our rivers. \n  \nMore information about the Festival including a line up of each event\, coming soon.

SUMMARY:Ripples to Reeds- A Family Wetland Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 25th April for a day at Seaton Wetlands dedicated to celebrating the Axe Rivers. There will be so much fun to be had; water vole face painting\, stream dipping and even sand martin creation where you will help them migrate back from sub-Saharan Africa! Visit the local stream to see the array of insects found in the bed. We’ll also be hosting local conservation bodies who will show us their passion for protecting our natural world\, and refreshments will be available for a small donation. \nThere’s no better place for spotting wildlife than Seaton Wetlands on the Axe. If you visit bird hides\, you’ll meet our friendly volunteers who can give you expert knowledge on the wildlife you see. \nThe event will start at 11:00 am and finish at 15:00 pm. \n \nEveryone is welcome and we hope to see you there! \nWhat3Words: bookcases.variances.upwardly
